"This Thing In My Head"--or, The Trials of an Aphasic Writer

We've been busy managing some medical complications with Bob stemming from the radiation.  He had a partial seizure a couple of weeks ago, and when they started him back on seizure medication, he turned out to be allergic to it.  So now his doctor is weaning a new medication on and the old one off.  Hopefully this will help Bob out, as he has been very sedated on keppra and not able to read or write very well. 

 We had been coming to the place in our story where he had wanted to write what should be a very interesting entry, but for now he can't write it, so with all that's going on I haven't rushed to put my next one up, either.  If Bob could take steroids he might be doing better, but he is diabetic and steroids are bad for diabetics.  So we are trying to find some natural remedies that might help do the job that steroids would normally do.

Hope Bob is feeling better. Sorry it took me so long to make contact. RJO told ABW about your books at Roger's funeral. I read Private Heat and had a serious attack of homesickness. Kudos to you for calling GRPD on the carpet for the whole Carole Irons debacle. Your books should be recommended reading for everyone in GR. ABW sends his love and best wishes for your recovery. Hi MLK...sorry we didn't reply sooner. I kept seeing this and then I'd forget to tell Bob, and he hasn't been able to read until just recently. He tried to call you but there was no answer. Where did you know Bob from? He was upset to hear about Roger. Thanks for reading our blog. I hope we can post more soon. --Linda.

P.S., I have just had to reread Private Heat for the e book edition. I want to know what CLIP stands for too!
